Artists’ Statement:
For close to twenty years I have been selling screen prints, block prints, and paintings in Southeast Alaska. My favorite subjects are children, animals, and seascapes. The last few years I have indulged my fascination for ceramics, especially handbuilding and overglaze. I've gone back to school at the University of Alaska to get another degree, this time in art, focusing on ceramics.
My husband and I spend a lot of time on the waters of Southeast Alaska, and I enjoy taking a sketchbook or watercolors out and painting what I see.
